Queensland Quilt Show

The results are out, and I have won 2nd place, pictorial section at this year's Queensland Quilt Show, with this piece. It's a whole cloth dye-painted piece, and free motion embroidered. I rather enjoyed the process in making this piece, and whilst it didn't turn out the way I imagined it should, it still came out o.k.

It certainly did come out 'OK' and congratulations on your award - as for the concern you expressed on AQL about the colours - I think you are being your own worst critic - to me the colours seem just at those two mysterious times of day - a minute before sunup and a minute after sundown.
